Taylor received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota-Morris. She holds a Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, one of the top programs in the country. Taylor has experience across a wide range of settings, from government agencies to health institutions to community advocacy initiatives. She is fluent in Hmong and English, and brings an interdisciplinary perspective that draws from the foundations of social work, psychology, and the humanities.
Taylor specializes in trauma-informed care and works with a broad spectrum of clients— not limited to, but including students, families, and those navigating profound life transitions. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, empathetic, and attuned to the intricate ways in which identity, culture, and personal history intersect with mental well-being.
Taylor’s practice is founded on a deep commitment to cultural humility and intellectual curiosity. She is continually engaged in the learning process and endeavors to be open to new insights that support healing and growth. Taylor aims to create a reflective space where clients can engage with their emotional landscape and cultivate resilience through self-awareness.
Taylor is an LGSW (Licensed Graduate Social Worker) working under the licensed supervision of Sue Rau MSW, LICSW while she pursues clinical licensure as an LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker).
